INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TEACHER
LONG TERM OCCASIONAL CONTRACT

UTS is looking for an experienced Instrumental Music Teacher, preferably with Winds and Strings specialization to join the school’s Expressive Arts Department from March 30th to June 30th, 2020.
This position is a full-time (100%FTE) maternity leave replacement and therefore may start prior to March 30, 2020. The successful candidate will be eligible to apply for a 2020-2021 term position covering this maternity leave.
Applicants will ideally have five (5) years of teaching experience or a combination of comparable/related experience with Intermediate/Senior Qualifications and a demonstrated ability to successfully teach music at the intermediate level (grades seven and eight); be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and hold Honours Specialist Qualifications in Music and/or the equivalent graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Music.
