Title: Part-time Professor, Plumbing Techniques

Position Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for teaching all subjects involved with Plumbing Techniques and Apprenticeship. Responsibilities include development, delivery, lesson planning, assignment setting, lab development, manual development to meet learning outcomes, setting course evaluation criteria, class management, student project and applied research. The successful candidate will be committed to student learning and be comfortable working in a culturally diverse setting.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a Journeyman, Red Seal or Master Plumber, along with a minimum of five years of experience in all aspects of Plumbing – technical skill, installation, field construction and safety. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching ability and an understanding of the learning process; be computer literate and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
