Subject Area: Native Languages (Ojibwe) – Grades 9-12
LNO AO/BO/CO/DO/EO Grade 9-12 Ojibwe, Levels 1 to 5
(Levels taught to be determined by students enrolled in course)

This position is for teaching Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) at Kapapamahchakwew – Wandering Spirit School (Secondary) and Riverdale Collegiate Institute (Secondary) and providing further assistance to the Native Language Program through the Urban Indigenous Education Centre.

The successful candidate must be fluent in Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) and be able to incorporate cultural programming into instruction.

Preference will be given to individuals with Native Languages (Algonquin or Ojibwe) or Anishinaabemowin as a Second Language (TASL) certification, a Program of Teacher Education or Temporary Letter of Approval (TLA).

Long Term Occasional (LTO) Status 1 position: 1.0 FTE

End Date: No later than June 30, 2022
