The Bishop Strachan School “BSS” has been a leader in girls’ education since 1867. We teach them to find purpose, feel confident, and speak with a strong, independent voice.
The Community Engagement Co-ordinator will help support, and deliver community building programs that connect diverse communities and encourage meaningful dialogue. The Co-ordinator will work closely with departments across the whole school by organizing and executing event activities adhering to school policies and procedures. The Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact for the Parent Association, Alumnae Association and other Advancement community building events and groups arriving at BSS. The Co-ordinator will meet, organize and direct all community members in a warm, friendly, professional manner, to ensure that all needs are appropriately handled and to reinforce the school as a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
