Occasional/Supply/TOC Administrative Support

Job Description

These positions are casual/on-call for short term assignments.

You must be available at least 3 days per week.

Assignments are in schools and some administrative sites located across the TDSB.

 

Office Staff are required to maintain confidentiality and provide exemplary customer service, possess strong organizational and communication skills and have the ability to multi-task. 

Travelling to different sites in all areas of the city is a must.

Candidates must also have the following skills and/or experience:

  • Excellent secretarial and clerical experience
  • Possess proficiencies in MS Office. 
  • Customer Service for front-line support including liaising with parents and communities
  • Administrative/clerical support
  • Data entry
  • Records management
  • Processing and maintaining student attendance information
  • Usage of a variety of computer software including Word, Excel, Publisher, Quicken, SAP & SmartFind Express or equivalent systems
  • Maintaining budget records and other reports

 

 

Rate of Pay:

Supply hourly rates start at $19.01

3.4% statutory holiday pay and 4% vacation pay are added to these rates

Temporary hourly rates after completing 30 days start at $26.34

3.4% statutory holiday pay and 4% vacation pay are added to these rates

Rates effective September 1, 2023

Schedule: up to 7 hours per day between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm

 

Qualifications:

  • Community College diploma (ie: Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Administration)
  • At least two year's related office experience or
  • High School diploma with several years of related experience
