Reporting to Property Services Supervisor-Electrical/Automation
ROLE: Performs work up to and including journey level trades work in constructing, maintaining and repairing building electrical systems and components and acts in a leadership role in installation, maintenance, repair and construction projects.
Electrical Red Seal, preferred. Confirmation of your educational qualifications must be included with your application.
Must have completed electrician course and plan to continue towards a Certificate of Qualifications in the Electrical Construction trade issued under the authority of the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualification Act of Nova Scotia.
Experience in Building Automation System, including installing, programming, trouble shooting and repairing would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
Qualified applicants from within the CUPE Bargaining Unit Local 3876 will be considered first. Should there be no qualified candidate from within the Bargaining Unit, new applicants will be considered.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and a completed Child Abuse Registry. Confirmation of your educational qualifications must be included with your application.
