Job Description
Toronto Academy of EMC is seeking for dedicated and passionate SCIENCE/BIOLOGY or CHEMISTRY/PHYSICS teachers to join our new campus in Vietnam.
You will be teaching the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum to students in Vietnam. Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the OSSD.
As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their educational goals.
Duties:
• Create and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop educational programs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning
Experience/qualifications:
- OCT certificate (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Science (chemistry, biology, or physics)
• Canadian University graduates preferred
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
