Job Description
Social Integration (SI):
The Social Integration (SI) program allows students to acquire the skills and support while transitioning from a school context to a job training. This instructional service is a response to the need to diversify the training offered to adults who wish to enter the labour market, remain employed or pursue an education.
It enables adults to create a career plan, development sociovocational skills, acquire professional competencies, and learn to plan and organize their job search. It offers adults the opportunity to adopt a process to update or develop skills to face the challenges associated with new workplace realities.

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq provides educational services to the residents of Nunavik, a region in northern Quebec. Established under the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement in 1975, Kativik Ilisarniliriniq has grown to serve a vast, culturally rich area with a strong focus on Inuit values and traditions.

Educational Programs:
Seventeen primary and secondary schools and six adult education centers fall under the school board’s jurisdiction. Educational instruction is provided in three languages: Inuktitut, French, and English, ensuring that the curriculum is accessible and inclusive for all students. The curriculum prioritizes Inuit culture, language, and worldview to safeguard and advance the rich heritage of the Inuit community.
