Grade 3 Teacher - Jimmy Sandy Memorial School

If so, Jimmy Sandy Memorial School is currently seeking a passionate Grade 3 teacher to fill a permanent full-time position for the 2022/2023 school year!

JSMS Overview
Located in the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach, 15 kilometres from Schefferville, Jimmy Sandy Memorial School provides instruction to the Naskapi beneficiaries. The school offers instruction to all grade levels from pre-kindergarten to secondary 5 (Grade 11) and adult and vocational education. 
Community Overview
Kawawa, as it is locally called, is a dynamic community of approximately 1,000 people. There is a grocery store, pool, fitness center, cultural center, local radio station, and health care clinic to name a few. Other services can also be found in nearby Schefferville, where JSMS housing is located for teachers from outside the community.
