FUNCTION & DUTIES:
· Support and mentor new principals and vice principals.
· Coordinate communication with the Principals.
· Coordinate & prepare Principals’ meetings.
· Update Principals’ handbook;
· Assist in yearly assignments;
· Develop and update policies concerning school organization and make sure, once adopted, it is well communicated to the Principals;
· Identify and coordinate Special Grants, inform and manage the sharing of information
· Ensure collaboration with outside organizations
· Coordinate practicum placements with HR
· Offer support related to field trips and excursions
· Support Principals on school budget matters;
· Coordinate the New Paths program;
· Any other related tasks as determined by the Director of School Operations.
qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold a senior executive or senior staff position in a school board for which an undergraduate degree is required under the minimum qualifications;
· Five (5) years relevant experience;
· A permanent teaching permit issued by the MEQ or a teaching licence recognized under the Education Act for Cree, Inuit and Naskapi Native Persons (R.S.Q., c. I-14).
