Job Description

We look for inspiring role models to run one-hour chess clubs during lunchtime and/or after school on weekdays (Mon-Fri) in York Region (Markham/Richmond Hill/Thornhill/Maple/Woodbridge) and Toronto elementary schools. Whether or not you are a chess expert, if you are an experienced teacher/instructor who is a charismatic performer, then we would like to meet you!
We look to hire:
  • Very experienced instructors, counselors, and teachers. The ideal candidate has years of rich and diverse experience of leading groups of children in a variety of different settings such as a schoolteacher, teacher in training/assistant, extracurricular group leader (drama / dance / swimming / language / martial arts instructor, etc.), camp counselor, and more.
  • High-energy, creative, positive and inspiring leaders who are natural performers. If you are an excellent communicator, if you have amazing interpersonal skills, if you love to inspire others and feel you belong on the stage, then apply today.
  • Fully vaccinated individuals who can travel easily to elementary schools in York Region and Toronto, and who are available to begin immediately.
