Position Title: Operations Manager
Status: Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: $69,864 – $104,796

What you will do:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Operations, the Operations Manager provides overall administration, development and support services delivery to the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness in an efficient and timely manner. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: human resources activities (preparing contracts, supervision and management of work study-students), management and supervision of the Faculty’s Reception areas and the Centre for Healthy Living; accurate “on-boarding and off-boarding” of all full-time and part-time support employees; co-ordination and management of all Facilities and IT requests, processing work orders for the office and teaching spaces ensuring functionality and replacement of equipment as required; responsible for work integrated system operations/requirements; management and co-ordination of procurement processes of materials required to support the Office functions; co ordination and execution of all internal and external academic recruitment activities and showcase events.

What you bring to the role:

  • Successful candidate will possess a 3 year diploma/degree in operations management, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position
  • Supervisory and front line operations experience is a must
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong motivator and leader.
  • Very detail-oriented individual and a strong team player.
  • Superior client relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
