FUNCTION & DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Coordinator of the Nunavik Sivunitsavut (NS) program, the Education Consultant will have the following responsibilities: Develop and adapt Inuktitut language programming for the NS program; Participate in the implementation of the courses for the Inuktitut NS program; Ensure educational content related to Inuit culture is appropriate; Participate in the evaluation of the Inuktitut NS program and materials; Review and compile existing resources (literature, dictionaries, films, etc.) and render them accessible to students enrolled in the NS program; Advise and support teachers in various matters; Be able to lead pedagogical activities for the Inuktitut NS program; Perform any other tasks deemed relevant and necessary.
