Part-Time Deck Attendant Athletics and Wellness Centre Employment Terms: Part-Time; Contract

We are seeking candidates for Part-Time (4-20 hours/week) Deck Attendant positions to work in our Athletics and Wellness Centre (AWC). Various shifts will be available Saturday and Sunday between 8:45am-8:00pm. The successful candidates will join the Athletics and Wellness team and report to the Aquatics Coordinator and/or Director, Athletics and Wellness Centre.
Responsibilities:
Ensure safety of all students and patrons using the Athletics and Wellness Centre’s swimming pools;
Maintain direct contact with swimmers and communicate with them in an effective manner;
Support instructional swimming lessons to various age groups following established curriculum;
Assist Swim Instructors and Deck Supervisors with implements lesson plans, evaluations and managing the safety on deck;
