Every coach on this page has held senior roles in Ontario education. They know how boards actually make hiring and promotion decisions, because they've sat on that side of the table. Sessions are private, by video, and never listed on your Jobs in Education profile.

For Feeling Stuck, your coach reviews your resume or application materials before you meet, so the session itself is spent talking, not reading.

One hour, focused and confidential.

For multi-session packages, you'll agree your focus together.
At the start of your first session, you and your coach will talk through what you most want to work on — gap analysis, interview practice, positioning, leadership development, or promotion guidance — and shape the remaining sessions around it.
Confidentiality
We know coaching only works if you can be honest, and we know being honest here can feel risky.
- Nothing you discuss with your coach is shared with your employer, your board, or anyone else at Jobs in Education.
- The content of your coaching is never added to your Jobs in Education profile.
- Sessions are not recorded.
- We don't publish client names or identifying details. If we ever ask to share a story or a quote, it's with your explicit permission, and only in a form you approve.
What Coaching Is — and Isn't
Coaching is career and leadership guidance from someone who has led at a senior level in Ontario education. It's a place to think out loud, get an honest outside read, and figure out what to do next.
It is not a resume writing service, legal advice, union representation, therapy, or a substitute for counselling or other professional mental health support. Your coach doesn't represent or advocate for you with any employer, and coaching doesn't guarantee an interview, an offer, or a promotion.
What it offers is clarity, preparation, and an experienced perspective on how these decisions actually get made.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this only for Ontario educators?
Our coaches' deepest knowledge is of Ontario boards, promotion processes, and Ontario College of Teachers requirements. Educators elsewhere in Canada are welcome — much of the coaching applies broadly — but if your questions are specific to another province's process, let us know before you book so we can be upfront about fit.
How do I know which package is right for me?
Feeling Stuck is a single session — the right starting point if you're not sure what's holding you back. Your Next Step and The Long Run are for when you already have something specific in front of you: a role, a competition, or a promotion you're preparing for over time. If you're unsure, email us and we'll help you decide.
What if I want to focus on more than one thing in a multi-session package?
That's normal. You'll talk it through with your coach at the start of your first session, and there's room to adjust as you go.
Can I use this for something other than a job search?
Yes. Coaching covers leadership development, professional growth, and preparing for a change of board or role — not only active job searches.
Who sees that I've booked a session?
No one. Employers can't see your Jobs in Education profile or account activity at all — the only thing visible to an employer is a resume, and only if you choose to upload one to the resume database. See Confidentiality above.
Do you offer this for groups or boards?
Yes — contact us directly to discuss coaching or leadership development for a cohort.
What's your cancellation policy?
Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled or missed with less notice are counted as delivered.
Meet our coach
Nina Jaiswal, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed.
Educational Consultant · Former Superintendent of Education
Nina spent her career inside Ontario's education system, culminating in her role as a Superintendent of Education — the position responsible for exactly the hiring and promotion decisions many of her coaching clients are working toward.
She has served for over 13 years as a roster member and chair on the Accreditation Review Panel for the Ontario College of Teachers. She coaches for the Ontario Principals' Council and has contributed to professional learning for the Ontario Public Supervisory Officers' Association (OPSOA).
Nina has taught in the pre-service teacher program at the University of Toronto and additional qualification courses at York University. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a Master's from Brock University in Organizational and Administrative Studies.
Today, Nina works with international agencies to build the leadership capacity of both new and experienced administrators, teaches leadership courses globally, and facilitates partnerships between Ontario universities and educational organizations abroad. She is a published curriculum writer, with contributions to science curriculum for Nelson and secondary math textbooks for McGraw-Hill Ryerson.
Nina coaches educators at every stage — from a first application that isn't landing, to preparing for a first leadership role, to navigating a promotion process at a familiar or unfamiliar board.
