Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the successful operation of the company.
• Develop and review strategic plans and business objectives.
• Approve and implement company policies, plans, and procedures.
• Determine the allocation of material, human and financial resources.
• Formulate and approve promotional campaigns.
• Hire, train, manage and terminate (when necessary) professional lecturers and other staff.
• Initiate or discontinue training programs in accordance with market demand.
• Develop and implement strategies determining the overall direction of the company.
• Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the company.
• Assess the education market to determine suitable programs for development and
implementation.
• Participate in student orientation events, career fairs and other events to promote the company's
training programs.
• Establish and manage the company's departments.
• Negotiate contracts on behalf of the company and build affiliate relationship with other student
agencies.
• Conduct performance reviews of staff.
• Co-ordinate the flow and direction of work between professional lecturers and staff.
• Oversee major human resources decisions and approve personnel planning.
• Review and approve the company’s annual financial plans and budgets.
• Establish financial and administrative controls.
Terms of employment: Permanent Full-time Position
Salary: CAD$85,020/year ($54.50 per hour for 30 hours a week)

Skills requirements:
Minimum Work Experience: At least five years of experience working as a Principal in a secondary school, including at least one year in a Canadian secondary school, and demonstrates five or more years of experience supervising and managing the operations of schools with more than 100 students
Minimum Education: 3-year College Diploma
Minimum Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to supervise more than 16 to 20 staff in various area of responsibility
- Be able to manage the company budget range from C$500,000 to C$1.5 million
- Demontrate familiarity with Ontario secondary school operations including Onario secondary
- school licensing and auditing prcoesses and Ontario secondary school regulations
- Demonstrate familiar with the Ontario requirements for high school graduation
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Be specialized in educating, encouraging and communicating with seconday school students
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and student-focused practices and policies
- Be organized, accurate, reliable, dependable, and a good team player
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and meet tight deadline while demonstrating attention to detail and handling a large workload
- Knowledge of MS Power Point, MS Office, Windows, WeChat, Zoom
Working Conditions:
- Night and/or evening and/or weekend shifts will be required so as to be able to communicate
with students or parents in China and Southeast Asia
- Ability to communication in Mandarin is an asset as some students are from China
- Overtime work hours may be required to meet business needs
- National or International travel may be required based on the business’s operations. (Travel expenses will be paid by the company)
