The Niagara Catholic District School Board invites applications for Summer School Teachers for Secondary School Credit position in the following subject areas (Please indicate on your application which course(s) your application is being made to):

  • English (ENG2D; ENG3U; ENG4U, ENG3C; ENG4C)
  • Photography and Digital Imaging (TGP3M, TGP4M)


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Program offering is contingent upon sufficient enrollment
  • Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment or for other reasons at the Board's discretion
  • Not all applicants will be interviewed
  • Only those applicants who are successful will be notified

    WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Required qualification(s) in the subject area that you have applied to, as evidenced by your Ontario Certificate of Qualification
  • Related experience in an academic credit course with travel component

DURATION: July 2 - July 31, 2026

Photography and Digital Imaging

• Parent Information Session - June 6, 2026 (12p.m. - 2p.m.) at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Grimsby

• Two Saturday teaching sessions, May 30, 2026 (12p.m. - 2p.m.) and June 13, 2026 (9a.m. - 1p.m.) at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Grimsby; and

• July 5, 2026 - July 25, 2026 (tentative dates) in Italy; includes all day supervision responsibilities

• Parent Information Session - June 6, 2026 (12 p.m. - 2p.m.) at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Grimsby

• TwoSaturday teaching sessions - May 30, 2026 (9a.m. - 12p.m.) and June 6, 2026 (9a.m. - 12p.m.) at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Grimsby; and

• July 5, 2026 - July 25, 2026 (tentative dates) in Italy; includes all day supervision responsibilities

TOTAL HOURS: 114 HOURS

RATE OF PAY: $52.73 inclusive of vacation pay and other statutory payments as per Collective Agreement
