Reporting to the Administrator of Compensation & Benefits , the HRIS Assistant will provide administrative and data management support to the H uman R esources I nformation S ystem (HRIS) team, ensuring accurate data entry, maintenance of employee records, assistance with data audits, and generation of standard reports.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Execute and validate daily absence and weekly timesheet imports to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS);
  • Input and update employee data within the HRIS, ensuring timely maintenance of all records;
  • Maintain employee information in alignment with HR data governance practices;
  • Prepare standard and customized reports;
  • Conduct data scrubbing, validation and cleanup to enhance data quality;
  • Adhere to confidentiality and data integrity protocols;
  • Perform routine audits of data to identify discrepancies and ensure ongoing accuracy;
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to support various operational and data-related tasks;
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and assist with additional responsibilities to support HR initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration;
  • A minimum of six (6) months to a year of previous experience with data entry;
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
This is a full time, temporary position.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Catholic Education Centre, Welland

RATE OF PAY: $31.78 - $35.31 per hour
