FUNCTION & DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Teacher Training and Development and in cooperation with other administrators of Adult Education and Vocational Training, the Coordinator of Teacher Training is responsible for the following: Coordinate with Québec universities to review and develop new and existing Nunavik-based certificate and bachelor of education programs leading to elementary and secondary certification. Serve as specialist and lead in the development of new and existing programs, ensuring the curriculum is coherent across courses, seminars, and field experiences and aligns with Kativik Ilisarniliriniq Pre-Kindergarten to Secondary 5 curriculum and MEQ provincial standards.
