The special education technician will work with students with physical or mental disabilities, social maladjustments, or learning difficulties by applying special education techniques and methods both inside and outside of the students' regular class. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Complementary and Compassionate Services, the Special Education Technician for the visually impaired will detect, evaluate, and guide students who are visually impaired or blind and provide strategies and recommendations to support their academic success.
