HOW YOU WILL THRIVE:

At Appleby, we are looking for a dedicated Recruitment/Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and be at the heart of our Human Resources department. You will be deeply immersed in recruitment while also supporting core HR initiatives, including onboarding, employee engagement, event planning and HR operations Your contributions will help create a welcoming and supportive environment for all employees.



 
HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED:

  • Support the full recruitment life cycle, including implementing recruitment strategies, managing recruitment events, posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, delivering exceptional experience by preparing offer letters, and orientation materials and coordinating training
  • Manage and update Appleby’s intranet with organizational documents and news, ensuring easy access to information and promoting employee engagement
  • Partner with the HR team to promote Appleby’s culture, enhance employee engagement, and support initiatives that improve retention, well-being, and a positive work environment
  • Coordinate and execute HR-related events such as Chair’s Dinner, Recognition Event, Employee Luncheon and Holiday events that encourage collaboration and foster a strong sense of community
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Generate reports, perform statistical analysis, and prepare presentations
  • Support the development and implementation of health and safety programs, including training, record maintenance, and participation in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings to address workplace safety concerns

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • A post-secondary degree is preferred
  • Hands-on recruitment experience in an HR or talent acquisition role
  • A multitasker who excels at managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while effectively meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with care, fairness, and consistency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented, demonstrating exceptional accuracy and a high level of discretion in managing sensitive information
  • Experience with HR software and ATS is an asset
