Teaching Position (1.0 FTE)

CATHOLIC FAITH COORDINATOR (Supporting all schools)

The Catholic Faith Coordinator is a system level position of leadership within the Board, providing a visible presences and

witness to the spiritual and sacramental life of Catholic education. This position supports the building of Christ centred

communities across all schools and Board operations, ensuring that Catholic identity, faith formation and Gospel values are intentionally integrated into all aspects of the Board, including professional learning, promotion, classroom practices and supports the school, home, parish connections that Catholic Schools are centred in.

Working collaboratively with Superintendents, school administrators, system leads, clergy and parish partners, the

Catholic Faith Coordinator provides leadership in Catholic Faith, Religious Education, Faily Life Education, social justice

and student pathway planning (K-8). This role supports the spiritual, academic and vocational discernment of students by aligning pathway planning with Catholic Graduate Expectations, the Ministry document Creating Pathways for Success and a clear emphasis on faith formation and vocation.

This position will commence on August 31, 2026.

Required Qualifications:

• Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing).

• Be a practicing Catholic who actively witnesses to the faith.

• Religious Education Specialist qualifications (or equivalent).

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably across more than one (1) division.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and student faith formation.

• Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively at both school and system levels.

• Have knowledge of Ontario curriculum, Catholic Graduate Expectations and student pathway planning (K-8).

• Experience in communications, faith leadership or system level coordination is considered an asset.
