International Recruitment & Business Development Specialist (Summer Programs & Camps)

Location: On-campus, In-person
Position Type: Full-Time contract 
Salary Range: $68,000 - $74,000

Appleby College is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead international recruitment and business development for our Summer Programs & Camps. In this role, you will drive global enrollment growth, build and strengthen strategic partnerships, and play a key role in positioning Appleby as a leading destination for international summer learning experiences.

 

HOW YOU WILL THRIVE:

From developing global recruitment strategies to building strong agent and partner relationships, your work will directly impact the growth and success of Appleby’s summer and ancillary programs.

You will play a key role in both driving enrollment and supporting the delivery of high-quality programs, working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for international students. 

 

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED:

  • Drive international student recruitment and achieve enrollment and revenue targets across Summer ESL, Canadian Experience Camps (CEC), academies, and other seasonal programs 
  • Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies and partnership plans with agents, schools, and organizations 
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with international agents and partners, including training, communication, and performance management 
  • Represent Appleby College through international and domestic travel, including recruitment events, FAM tours, and partner meetings 
  • Respond to inquiries and develop customized group proposals, itineraries, and pricing 
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance promotional materials, digital presence, and sales tools 
  • Design and execute communication strategies for agents, partners, and prospective families 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and program development 
  • Contribute to program planning and operational readiness in collaboration with Ancillary Activities and Boarding Life teams 
  • Participate in key program events, including student arrivals, orientations, and major program milestones 
  • Travel regularly, both locally and internationally, to build strategic partnerships and drive enrollment growth
  • Support the development and communication of procedures related to participant safety, well-being, and risk management 
  • Contribute to system updates and data management using platforms such as CampBrain

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Proven experience in international sales, student recruitment, or agent management 
  • Strong understanding of the international education market and emerging trends 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with global partners
  • Open to frequent local and international travel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Strategic mindset with strong business development capabilities 
  • Experience with CRM systems (CampBrain or similar platforms preferred) 
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented approach 
  • Multilingual abilities considered an asset
