Job Details Grove School provides educational programming for students in care, treatment, rehabilitation, transitional, and custody settings across the Durham District School Board. Our classrooms are located in both community schools and specialized program sites. All summer programs are delivered in person.
Grove programs often provide smaller class settings where educators can build meaningful relationships, personalize instruction, and support student re-engagement, achievement, and confidence.
Applications are invited for a Grove Summer School teaching positions for the following courses:- Credit upgrading
- Credit completion
- Credit recovery
- 1 Specialty Teacher (construction) for TWJ3E1
- Accelerated full-credit courses
Summer School Session :
- Session 1: July 2-27 (18 days at 6.25 hours/day)
- Session 2: July 29-August 20 (18 days at 6.25 hours/day)
- *6 week session - 1 position - July 2 - Aug 7 (6.25 hours/day)
- Classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Additional Information:- Applicants are asked to indicate their availability on the application.
- Successful candidates will be required to attend a brief staff meeting prior to the first instructional day.
