The Niagara Catholic District School Board's International Education Division is seeking International Program Assistants for the upcoming Elementary/Secondary Integration & ESL Program in St. Catharines/Niagara Falls.

Our International Program Assistants will assist in planning and supervising extra-curricular activities offered after school and on Saturdays for international students enrolled in the winter, spring , fall, as well as summer programs. Activities include day trips, cultural and recreational activities, sports, and more...

Programs dates:

  • Various start and end times beginning from April 2026

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Post-secondary student or recent graduate in Education, Linguistics, TESL, Recreation, Physical Education, or other related fields
  • Leadership skills and ability to relate well with 10 to 15 year old students are essential
  • Must be energetic, fun to be around, artistic or athletic
  • Prior camp experience, first aid training, and knowledge of a second language are assets

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

  • Flexible hours after 3:00 p.m. (weekdays) and on Saturdays
  • Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week (during program dates)
  • Some full day weekday and evening activities are part of the schedule

Temporary Part-time (casual) position

RATE OF PAY: $20.00/hour

As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Record Check, dated within the past six months of the hire date.
