Join a dynamic facilities team where your expertise will support the safe and efficient operation of building systems. In this role, you will perform maintenance and repair work on plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems in a diverse and active environment.

• this position requires working on-site and may involve varying shifts
About the job
In this role, you will:• perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing, heating, and ventilation (HVAC) systems
• inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as pumps, valves, motors, thermostats, and gauges
• respond to service requests and adjust building systems as required
• maintain and service equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• assist with general maintenance activities, including minor repairs and equipment support
• maintain tools, equipment, and inventory records
• ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• coordinate with supervisors and external vendors when specialized repairs are required
What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• you must possess a valid Plumber's Licence recognized in the Province of OntarioTechnical knowledge
You have:• knowledge of plumbing systems and building maintenance practices
• familiarity with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• understanding of applicable legislation and standards, including: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Building codes and fire codes
Other essential skills
You have:• the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
• problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• the ability to plan and carry out maintenance activities independently
• effective communication and interpersonal skills
• the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
