Toronto Academy of English, Mathematics and Coding, or simply EMC, is a private high school, accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education, providing high-quality education for students from grades 9 -12 based on the official Ontario Secondary School Curriculum.

Our Mission

Toronto Academy of EMC strives to inspire and equip our students with the necessary mindset and skills to become independent lifelong learners, fully dedicated to making tangible and positive contributions to their communities and beyond.

We are also an IB WORLD SCHOOL for the DIPLOMA PROGRAMME. Starting in September 2024, students in our IB program will have the opportunity earn both the OSSD and the IB Diploma simultaneously.

The advisory board consists of two Canadian university professors (Master's, Ph.D. candidates and postdoctoral supervisors) and three young mathematics researchers who have obtained or will soon obtain PhD degrees from Canadian universities.

Conveniently located just a short 30-minute drive from downtown Toronto and surrounded by some of Canada's major universities and colleges, our campus is equipped with the latest technology to enhance student success. This includes state-of-the-art smartboards in every classroom and a library dedicated to supporting student research and learning.
 
Joint OSSD Program in Vietnam with Viet Anh Education Group Corporation 

Going beyond geographical confines, this visionary initiative is amplified by the esteemed reputation of Viet Anh Education Group Corporation (Viet Anh), a well-established conglomerate of private schools in Binh Duong, Vietnam. Viet Anh is celebrated for its steadfast dedication to high-quality teaching standards and a forward-thinking, well-balanced educational philosophy.

EMC's partnership with Viet Anh marks the dawn of an exciting era in international education, commencing in September 2024. This pioneering collaboration sees EMC and Viet Anh jointly introducing a program designed not only to enable students in Vietnam to attain both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the Vietnamese High School Diploma but also to immerse them in a transformative educational experience.

The program presents students with a distinctive opportunity to seamlessly enroll and accrue credits towards the OSSD. It removes the geographical barrier, allowing students to enroll and obtain credits towards the OSSD without the need to relocate to Canada,  all within the nurturing and innovative environment fostered by Viet Anh.

By harmonizing the strengths of both educational systems, this collaboration aims to deliver a comprehensive and enriching academic journey for students in Vietnam, positioning them for success on a global scale.

Toronto Academy of EMC is seeking for dedicated and passionate SCIENCE/BIOLOGY or CHEMISTRY/PHYSICS  teachers to join our new campus in Vietnam. You will be teaching the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum to students in Vietnam. Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the OSSD. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their educational goals.
