Sample Teaching Position Details:
Position: Homeroom Teacher (TlS, SLS) or Subject !Specialized Teacher (SLS)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm(There will extra working time if there is a staff meeting required by the principal, it is usually on Monday and it will be finished around 5pm.)
Teaching hours: ~25 classes / week, 40minutes/class. +Office hours are required
Salaries and Benefits.
1) Salary:18,000-25.000 RMB($3600 CAD -$5000CAD) / month (before tax),.based on qualifications, degrees, and experience of the candidate,
2) Housing allowance: 5,000 RMB ($1000 CAD)/month
3) Bonus: 10% of the year base salary after one year contract.
4) Flight allowance:8,000RMB(1600CAD)/year
5) Moving allowance: 2,000RMB ($400 CAD) upon arrival at Sanya,
6) Health insurance provided,
7) Free lunches at school canteen provided,
8) Paid holidays: Chinese government holidays (October National Holiday ~1 week), Christmas (Christmas eve and Christmas day), Summer (Around 7 weeks to 8weeks / July and August), Winter Holiday / Spring Festival (Kindergarten teachers. 2 weeks, Upper Primary teachers. 4 weeks)
