Sous la supervision du directeur adjoint des Services complémentaires et compatissants, le rôle de l'orthophoniste consiste à aider les élèves aux prises avec des troubles de la parole, du langage et de la communication pour tirer le maximum de leur potentiel personnel et scolaire. Au moyen d'une approche consultative communautaire, l'orthophoniste travaille à prévenir, évaluer, diagnostiquer et traiter les troubles de la parole, du langage oral et écrit, de la communication sociale et de la communication cognitive. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Complementary and Compassionate Services, the role of the Speech-Language Pathologist is to help students with speech, language, and communication challenges to achieve their academic and personal potential. Using a community-based consultative approach, the SLP works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, oral and written language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disabilities.
