FUNCTION & DUTIES: The position of Education Consultant in Curriculum Development and Support reports to the Assistant Director of the first language curriculum development department. The Curriculum Developer has as their first priority to support the Assistant Director and other education consultants in the coordination, evaluation, research, support and development of the kindergarten-to-secondary-5 curricula offered in Inuktitut. IN GENERAL, THIS POSITION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing curricula offered in Inuktitut in collaboration with external consultants; Creating and updating teaching materials, learning materials, assessment materials and other teacher and student resources; Providing support and training to teachers concerning the use of technological tools required for teaching; Travelling frequently throughout Nunavik; Performing any other relevant tasks required by the Assistant Director.
