FINANCE MANAGER NYAD (Not Your Average Daycare Community Inc.)  was founded in 1979 to provide child care for parents volunteering at Scarborough Village Alternate Public School. Over the years, it expanded into various Scarborough schools, including Guildwood and Donwood, and grew its programs to offer care from infants to school-aged children. NYAD collaborated with the Scarborough Board of Education, joined the Dolphin Bingo Association in 1997, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. NYAD remains dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and creative environment for children.
