We are looking for dedicated special education teachers to join our team. Ideal applicants will be passionate about working with primary and secondary students experiencing a variety of learning needs. FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES : Perform evaluations to determine students' learning abilities and challenges. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on the results of these evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in the local special education committee. Design and implement a differentiated instruction program tailored to students' specific needs. Employ various pedagogical methods and resources to enhance students' learning experiences. Work in close collaboration with parents, tutors and other teachers and support staff to ensure that effective communication and support are provided for each student. The special education technician will work with students with physical or mental disabilities, social maladjustments or learning difficulties by applying special education techniques and methods both inside and outside of the students' regular class.
